What is this scheme?

Technology Development-cum-Incubation Centers provide startups and industries research facilities, and mentoring to turn strong technology ideas into real products and businesses.

Objectives

  • The aim is to link India's robust startup ecosystem to the nuclear sector by setting up Technology Development-cum-Incubation Centers for fostering synergy between research facilities and tech-entrepreneurs.
  • The main objective of Incubation Centres is to foster nucleation, incubation and growth of startups/enterprises based on technologies or available know-how.

Who can apply (eligibility)

  • Startups/MSMEs/Industries that have robust proposals, based on sound original ideas.

What do you get?

  • Providing infrastructure and value-added services through prototyping facilities, test beds, pilot implementation, etc. to Indian industries; and creating a network of mentors who would provide sector-specific knowledge and real-world practical guidance.
  • Interested applicants are encouraged to visit the nearest incubation centres to collect more information on the Call for Proposals and benefits being provided.

How to apply

  1. 01Interested stakeholder can visit the different Technology Development-cum-Incubation Centers for more details on benefits available and application process.
  2. 02For example, in the case of the Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research (IGCAR), eligible applicants can submit their proposal along with an Expression of Interest for incubation of the technology to Head, IC-IGCAR (incubation@igcar.gov.in).
