What is this scheme?
PMMY helps small businesses and entrepreneurs get collateral-free loans so they can start, run, or expand income-generating activities.
Objectives
MUDRA is a refinancing Institution. It provides loans of up to ₹20 lakh to income generating micro/small business entities engaged in trading, manufacturing, service, activities allied to agriculture, poultry, farming etc.
Who can apply (eligibility)
- Individuals, Proprietary, Partnership Firm, Private Ltd. Company, Public Company, any other legal forms.
What do you get?
- Term Loan / Overdraft/ Working Capital / Composite Loan for acquiring assets are required.
- Loans shall be granted across the following types of loans:
- Shishu Loan: up to ₹50,000
- Kishor Loan: ₹50,000 to ₹5 lakh
- Tarun Loan: ₹5 lakh to ₹10 lakh
- TarunPLus Loan: ₹10 lakh to ₹20 lakh.
How to apply
- 01Mudra loans are available at all bank branches across the country. Mudra loans are also issued by NBFCs / MFIs who are engaged in financing for micro enterprises in small business activities.
- 02It can also be applied through the Jan Samarth Business Loan Portal (https://www.jansamarth.in/business-loan-pradhan-mantri-mudra-yojana-scheme) or Udyamimitra portal (www.udyamimitra.in).
