What is this scheme?
The International Cooperation Scheme helps MSMEs explore export markets by supporting their participation in international trade fairs, exhibitions, buyer-seller meets, and other activities that build global market access.
Objectives
This scheme aims to support MSMEs in entering the international market, by providing them opportunity to participate in international exhibitions, fair, buyer-seller market abroad. Incentives/reimbursements are offered to MSMEs for support. The objective of the Scheme is to provide opportunities to MSMEs to continuously update themselves to meet the challenges emerging out of changes in technology, changes in demand, emergence of new markets, etc.
Who can apply (eligibility)
- MSMEs, State/Central Government Organizations/Institutions and Registered Industry/Enterprise Associations etc.
What do you get?
- The scheme provides financial assistance on reimbursement to beneficiaries.
- The Scheme has envisaged three components to provide support: ‘Market Development Assistance’ and ‘Capacity Building of First Time Exporters (CBFTE)’, and Framework for International Market Intelligence Dissemination (IMID).
- The ‘Capacity Building of First Time Exporters (CBFTE)’ component of the Scheme provides reimbursement to new Micro & Small Enterprises (MSE) exporters for costs incurred on certain defined exports.
