What is this scheme?
IN-SPACe Seed Fund Scheme helps early-stage space startups build and test new space-tech ideas by giving them grant funding, mentoring, and support to move from concept to prototype.
Objectives
The Indian National Space Promotion and Authorization Centre (IN-SPACe) has been formed under the Department of Space (DoS) to promote, enable, authorize and supervise non-government entities to undertake space activities.
Who can apply (eligibility)
- DPIIT recognised early-stage startups with innovative ideas and projects that use space technology to address challenges in space sector
- Startups should not have received more than ₹50 lakh of monetary support under any Central or State Government Scheme.
What do you get?
- Funding, mentorship, training and networking opportunities.
- Grant of ₹1 crore provided to selected startups on milestone-basis.
