About this record

  • Offshore fund structure / HQ split: the legal fund vehicle is domiciled in Mauritius and the US advisory entity is in San Mateo, CA, though investment operations and team are India-focused (Bangalore). Lineage/name nuance: WestBridge was the predecessor of Sequoia Capital India (merged 2006) and was relaunched independently in 2011 — not to be confused with Sequoia/Peak XV. Broad mandate spans late-stage growth/PE and public-market (listed) investing as well as VC, so it skews larger/later-stage than a pure early-stage seed fund. Private firm (not a government/DFI/university vehicle).

Compiled from SEBI registrations and public sources as of 2026-07. iHub India lists investors neutrally and does not endorse, rank, or verify investment terms — confirm all details directly with the investor before transacting.
