About

SAHA Fund is a Bangalore-based, women-focused technology venture capital fund founded by Ankita Vashistha around 2014-2015 and billed as India's first VC fund dedicated to women entrepreneurs and women-centric products/services. The founder later extended the thesis through StrongHer Ventures and the current Arise Ventures (ariseventures.vc); early team/advisors included Usha Amin (Partner), Deepak Aggarwal (CFO) and advisors such as Mohandas Pai and Avinash Vashistha.

About this record

  • REBRAND / SUCCESSION: SAHA Fund is a legacy brand. Founder Ankita Vashistha has since launched StrongHer Ventures and now Arise Ventures (ariseventures.vc) as successor platforms; sahafund.com is still live and still branded "SAHA Fund," but the firm's active investing today operates under Arise Ventures — confirm which legal entity/email is current before official engagement. HQ in Bangalore (outside UP). Private VC (not a govt/DFI vehicle) — clean on that count.
